Tri-again

So last week was not a good training week. I went out of town for work so I only got in one swim workout. We'll try again this week I guess. The race I wanted to do is cancelled anyway, so I am not racing until the end of August. I'm excited to restart the training program.

Triathlon Day 2

I probably shouldn't have done my running yesterday barefoot. I was feeling it in my shins and ankles today. Every step felt like a painful strike on concrete.

The training for today was a 5 mile bike ride. The weather was gorgeous, and the ride was pleasant except for the bugs that flew at me like darts. I even had one die in my eye. I definitely like the riding better than the running.

Not sure what I'll do tomorrow for the swim. We still haven't joined a gym.

Triathlon Training Day 1

So Today was the first day of my sprint marathon training. Of course it was also a cold rainy Chicago day, so my first training run was indoors in my living room with the help of wii fit. I look forward to the adventure and I hope blogging will help keep me on track. So here is what this week looks like.
